Reflection on communicative tool

In today’s rapidly advancing digital world, communicative tools play an essential role in how we interact, share information, and collaborate with others. The presentation on communicative tools highlights the various Information and Communication Technology (ICT) platforms that facilitate both formal and informal exchanges of information. These tools are particularly valuable in educational, professional, and social settings, offering multiple avenues for individuals to stay connected regardless of time and location. 

One of the key points I gathered from the session is the distinction between different types of communicative tools, especially synchronous and asynchronous tools. Synchronous tools, such as video conferencing and Skype, enable real-time communication, which is ideal for immediate feedback and interactive discussions. Asynchronous tools, on the other hand, like email and blogs, allow users to send and receive messages without needing both parties to be online at the same time. This flexibility is particularly useful in educational environments where students and teachers may not always be available simultaneously. 

Another important aspect emphasized in the session is the use of email as a professional and efficient communicative tool. Emails allow for quick dissemination of information, sharing of files, images, and other attachments. They remain a preferred method for formal communication in workplaces and educational institutions. Learning about the various aspects of email, including its purpose and how it can be effectively used, has helped me appreciate its continued relevance even amidst the rise of instant messaging platforms. 

Moreover, platforms such as Google Classroom, Facebook, and Blogger were also mentioned as tools that support collaborative learning and social interaction. These tools have transformed traditional communication by making it more interactive, accessible, and engaging. They foster a sense of community, especially in online learning environments, by allowing learners to share ideas, discuss topics, and provide feedback. 

Overall, this session has deepened my understanding of how communicative tools support learning, teamwork, and social bonding. It has also made me more aware of choosing the right tool for the right context, ensuring effective and meaningful communication.

Google classroom helps teachers and students communicate easily. Teachers can share announcements, give feedback, and start discussions. Students can ask questions, join group work, and share ideas. This makes learning simple, clear, and more connected for everyone, anytime and anywhere.
